“If blue and black had a flavor, this would be it. Leather, blackberry, blueberry, gravel, coffee and molasses. Dense and concentrated, yet translucent purity. Majestic malbec: generous, delicious, divine.”
The 2018 vintage was incredible! This outstanding vintage began mild followed by a long and dry ripening season in the fall. This enabled us to hang the fruit to reach optimal ripeness without losing acidity or increasing sugars. The wines from 2018 are exceptional in many ways, from the great expression of the whites to the beautiful refinement and complexity of the reds. Enjoy!

“Coming from the same site as the Royal City Syrah, the 2017 Malbec Broncho is in the running for the Malbec of the vintage. Lots of chocolate-covered blueberries, leafy herbs, violets, and forest floor all flow to a medium to full-bodied Malbec that has great tannins, the silky, elegant style of the vintage, and a great finish. It’s beautifully done and has more opulence than just about any other Malbec out there from Washington State.”
“A delicious and juicy expression, the 2017 Malbec Stoneridge Vineyard Broncho offers notions of juicy plum, blackberry essence and soft, dusty boysenberries along with a soft oaky elegance on the firm and ripe nose. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is generous and plump on the palate with juicy tannins, allowing the expression to unfold, showing layers of complexity and finesse across the mid-palate. Ending with a long and complex finish, this is one of the best American Malbecs I have tried all year.”
